Frequently Asked Questions

How AIBS does Achieves its Purposes?
AIBS achieves its purposes through five-fold ministry: production, translation, distribution, engagement and fundraising. We work closely with churches and Christian organization and individuals. We achieve our task by partnering with translation specialist, printers, churches, individual members, and colleagues across the seas.
Are Scriptures Given Free or Sold?
Both, as the Bible society believes that if the Scriptures are to be fully appreciated and wanted, one evidence of that is some investment that should be made into their purchase. Moreover, Bible Society keeps the prices of the Bibles as low as possible in order to make them affordable and with the contribution of our donors and supporters we are able to provide every year free Scriptures to may people and ministries and churches.
Where We Get Our Resources?
We get our financial and prayer support from faithful supporters, and the sales of Scripture products. These supporters are individual members, donors, organizations and churches of different family background.
Who Oversees the Work of AIBS?
The direction of the Bible Society is set by the Advisory committee of representatives from the different family churches, Roman Catholic Church, Anglican Church, evangelical and Orthodox Church.
Does the Bible Society Work with all Christians?
Yes the Bible Society does serve all different church families and denominations by providing translations and publications that meet the needs of each church. Our task is to provide the means and the resources for them to do their ministry.
